Between One Story and Another… We Rebuild the Roots

Between one story and another, we rebuild the roots. At Dr. Ghazal School, we do not teach children reading and writing only — we reconnect them with their identity, their history, and the stories of their grandparents. As part of our participation in the Folk Tales Marathon, we hosted a storyteller from the East Gaza Directorate of Education to open a beautiful door into memory with our students. The event was filled with: traditional heritage decorations authentic Palestinian clothing students’ bright and curious eyes stories told to be planted in the heart before the mind This was not just a passing activity. It was a way of building a person who knows who they are, where they come from, and where they are going. At Dr. Ghazal School, we shape a generation that is educated, aware, and deeply connected to its identity.
